A Wetherspoons pub in North Wales was forced to close after a piece of ceiling fell off.
The Palladium in Llandudno shut on Friday (December 17) after the incident happened.
No customers were in the pub at the time and the masonry fell into a safety net that is in place as work is being carried out on the ceiling.
The pub is expected to reopen today once additional scaffolding has been put in place.
The pub is based in the former Palladium theatre and cinema that was built in 1920.
It was converted into a JD Wetherspoon pub in 2001 but retained many of the original features.
Wetherspoon spokesman Eddie Gershon said: “There is scaffolding in the pub as work is being undertaken on the ceiling.
“There is a safety net, so there is no danger to customers.
“A piece of the ceiling fell into the net early on Friday morning. No customers were in the pub.
“Wetherspoon has decided to reopen the pub once more scaffolding is in place.
“It is hoped the pub will reopen today (Saturday).”
